FIRME · 18+

Want to stop watching pornography? Start with one manageable step.

You can choose to change a habit without turning it into a judgment about who you are. This guide offers small actions for today and ways to find support if you need it.

For adults, 18+. General information and habit support. This guide does not diagnose, provide treatment or replace professional care.

Support does not have to wait for a timer.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to an emergency department. In Brazil, for a medical emergency, call 192 (SAMU).

Five choices for today.

  1. Choose a small change

Choose the next moment when you want to act differently. You could leave your phone outside the bedroom or end a browsing session. You do not have to solve everything today.

  2. Notice the context

Think about the time, place and what was happening before the habit. You can simply notice; there is no need to write personal details here.

  3. Keep another action within reach

Close the tab and change your setting if you can. Choose a simple, safe action: drink water, take a short walk or begin another task.

  4. Find company, if it feels right

If you want, talk with someone you trust and agree on support that respects your boundaries. You decide what to share.

  5. Adjust your plan without punishment

If it happens again, consider what needs to change in your next step. A counter does not measure your worth; you can seek support at any time.

An optional sixty-second pause.

Leave a little space before your next choice. Breathe comfortably, without holding or forcing your breath. If it feels uncomfortable, stop; you can simply look around or choose another action.

Inspired by the app’s opening Hold On step. This pause does not reproduce the complete flow and is not treatment.

1:00

Ready. Start whenever you want.

The timer runs on this page without an account, answers, storage or usage-event transmission. Leaving the page ends the pause; returning to the tab does not restart it automatically.

When to seek professional support.

If the behavior feels hard to control, causes distress or disrupts your routine and relationships, speak with a qualified health professional. Wanting to change a habit is not, by itself, a clinical assessment.

You can seek care even if you do not know how to describe what is happening. You do not need to wait a set time, finish the timer or meet a goal to ask for help.

Take a next step with you.

Firme is a habit-support app for adults, with check-ins, a fresh-start plan and Hold On. The breathing step lasts sixty seconds; the flow also includes your reason and a chosen action. Feature access and plans are shown in the app.
